Fungal Toenails

Fungal nails are infections beneath the nail's surface, which often penetrates the nail itself. The nail may become discoloured, brittle, loosened from the nail bed, thickened, crumbly or foul smelling. In severe cases, surgical removal of the nail may be necessary.
